Rosolio, also known as “the liqueur of the past” thanks to its extremely ancient origins, dates back to the late 17th century. It was first produced in monasteries, where nuns steeped rose petals in alcohol to create a liqueur for important guests. Years later, it became a “ladies’ liqueur” used primarily to celebrate engagements and weddings.
Thanks to its special and elegant aroma, and its “feminine” taste, it can be considered, then and now, as a liqueur for a welcome and a good conversation.
(Take it from me, men like this too!!)
